All generation 2 elevator parts have been updated to 2.5.1 – this includes shells. This release is mainly a bugfix release but it has a couple of small features that straddle the line between a fix and a feature. The scripts have also been optimized and should perform slightly better than before, although you probably won’t notice a difference! Updated script package to 2.5.1:
o Optimized all scripts greatly.
o Added Out of Service offset for doors.
o Scripts now stagger update requests to keep from filling the update disk queue and being discarded by the simulator.
o This results in more reliable updates when an elevator system has many parts.
o Various maintenance mode fixes and tweaks.
o Fixed a bug where the elevator would break when maintenance mode was triggered while the car was moving.
o Fixed a bug where elevator door call buttons would not re-enable after maintenance mode (related to above).
o You can no longer update an elevator that is in maintenance mode (this breaks the doors).
o Car now becomes phantom in maintenance mode.
o Elevator doors now log the avatar names of those who touch the buttons.
o Fixed a bug that would disable pressed buttons in the car if a "Read Config" was done while the car was moving.
All shells updated to 2.5.1:
o All shell versions have been synchronized.
o Phoenix doors had the missing Out of Service cube replaced.
o All door shells had the CubeOffset entry added to their notecards.
Update disk updated to 2.3.0:
o Optimized the code.
o Added more script loaders for faster updates and script installs.
o Increased the script response wait time to compensate for laggy simulators.
New notecard settings for manual replacement (see updated notecard in the shells for comments):
Phoenix Doors:
CubeOffset=<0.5, 0.38, 1.67>
Modern Doors:
CubeOffset=<0.0, 0.0, 0.0>
