New Shells and Scripts!

Get ‘em while they’re hot! FIVE new Gen2 elevator shells are now in our vendors! You can choose from four new cars as well as one new set of doors!

The script packages have been updated to 2.5.0 with some bug fixes and a new automatic lighting feature that is used in the new cars.

Also, there’s an updated affiliate kit with updated vendors and Gen2 holo display.

Shells, anyone?

We’ve contracted Timothy Harlow of Level10 to create some new generation two elevator shells which will bring a lot more variety to the elevators we see around the grid. We have four designs that are finished and ready to be scripted and who knows how many more floating around inside Timothy Harlow’s brain just waiting to be shaped into prims.

Expect to see these up for sale in the next few weeks, and pending the addition of code for round elevator doors, you will see a round car or two with some doors to go with it.

Postmaster released!

The Postmaster system is intended to take an e-mail as input and then send it out as instant messages to multiple avatars. It is able to filter e-mails to different groups of avatars depending on the subject of the e-mail. You can filter based on exact subject matches or partial subject matches.

The Postmaster is designed to accept e-mail from outside of Second Life (external) and from other Second Life objects (internal). E-mail from other Second Life objects will automatically have the Second Life header information stripped from the message before sending.

Also included is a built-in avatar scanner which allows you to detect the avatar keys of up to 16 avatars within 30 meters of the Postmaster.

Gift Vouchers Now Available!

You can now buy gift vouchers for use at Union Micro! They come in denominations of 10, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 5000 Lindens. See the vendors at Union Micro on the ground floor and second floor for more details.

To use the vouchers, simply rez them near a vendor and then touch the vendor. The item displayed on the vendor must be priced less than or equal to the amount of credit left on the voucher. The vouchers will only work for vendors at Union Micro and do not work on affiliate/catalog vendors.
