v2 Builders’ Edition

I’ve released an update to the elevators (v2.2.0) to facilitate the introduction of the new builders’ edition script package. This new edition allows you to transfer working* elevators with your buildings and then you customer only needs to purchase an Elevator Unlocker to make it all work!

* Elevator car needs to have a serial number entered before it will move.

Affiliate Update

I’ve released a new affiliate kit! This new kit contains the latest version of the affiliate vendors, a new vendor design, and a set of vendors for generation 2 elevators. The signs have been updated and are now a requirement for elevator affiliates. Also there is now a set of elevator holo displays included!

Current affiliates will expire in one week so you will have to update your current affiliate vendors with the latest kit.

Affiliate Kit Update

Our affiliate kit has been updated with some new vendors. I’ve cut it back from six vendors to four and applied the new texture theme that I’m using at Union Micro. The scripts are also the latest version of hippoVend which should help with some communication issues. I’ve also included a few signs that you can put out around your affiliate location.

Looking for Affiliates

We’re on the lookout for affiliates! At the moment we’re mostly interested in affiliates that feature Union Micro products, such as buildings made for our elevators. I will be constructing a more “formal” affiliate section at Union Micro where we will place your vendor – HippoVend catalog vendors are the preferred vendor for the affiliate program, or other similar devices that are not too big. Also, if you have a Second Life related website, we can trade buttons via a 88×31 banner. This section of our site is not live yet as we are waiting for affiliates.

Affiliate Vendors

Earn money by picking up your free Union Micro Affiliate Kit. This kit includes 6 different vendors that tie into my main vendor network server, so your affiliate vendors are always up-to-date. There are 3 different styles varying from 5 to 11 prims each, and 2 sets of vendors – 1 set for elevators, and 1 set for everything else.

Currently affiliates keep 10% of every sale, but I am considering raising this commission. When and if I do, no need to worry, your vendors will instantly sell at the new commission rate without any interaction or updating from you!

You can pick a kit up in-world at Union Micro, or you can grab one at SL Exchange.
